We have decided to keep Mason's original blog specific to his progress with his CDH complications. We hope that his blog can continue to update our family and friends and to provide hope to those families faced with a CDH diagnosis. Hence, we have the birth of this family update blog. - I am a stay at home mom of 2 beautiful children, married to my wonderful husband of 9 years. Caring for 2 and running a household keeps me plenty busy. We currently reside in the beautiful state of Michigan. Our son born in May of 2007 on our 5th wedding anniversary. His birth was complicated by a life-threatening defect called CDH (congenital diaphragmatic hernia0. Thankfully he was able to overcome his initial CDH complications and is now a mostly healthy 4 year old. Our daughter was born in April of 2009 without complications and is now a vibrant and curious 2 year old.

Geez I can't believe you aren't going to tell us what the baby is....I mean what kind of people would do such a thing :) We'll tell if you tell!! I can't believe you are already 17 weeks along! Our babies are going to be almost exactly 2mos apart - how exciting! Hopefully we can get together before the babies are here and the mayhem begins!
